Shopping & Finds Thrift Hunting

Super Cheap Shoes

Thrift Hunting Meme

The thrifter in me doesn’t go on vacation. I guess. Lol. I was in a local mall a day ago shopping for stuff for my daughter. I usually buy her socks, underwear, shoes here in the Philippines since there are more choices and prices are also cheap. Once I was done with shopping for her, I checked out the shoe section for ladies, I was thinking of buying a flat shoe. I want one that is comfy especially for traveling and walking short distances.

But the ones they have were only so-so and I thought I’d leave without buying anything for myself. Just as I was about to walk out of the store I saw this small stall with a lot of ladies milling about. I guess my curiosity got the better of me so I checked out what the fuss was about. Well, there they have shoes on sale. Flat shoes made of plastic although its a bit rubbery in texture. And the best thing was the price! $49! That’s just about $1.20!! So I hurriedly tried on several pairs and settled on this two.

Love love it! And if I get it wet or dirty I could easily wash it without worrying the soles would unglue itself! This is a real good buy and for sure I’d be using these shoes for a long time yet. I’m pretty much satisfied with this buy and I think that will be enough shopping for me hahaha. I’m saving up for something!

  1. I remember wearing one of those when I was in grade school, especially during the rainy season. I’d get blisters pag bago pa lang but later on nasasanay na ang paa. Magandang pang-harabas pag maulan at the same time fashionable pa rin 🙂
