Phnom Penh Shopping Shopping & Finds Thrift Hunting

Share-A-Thrift Hunt: Less than $1 Haul for Kiddo

Thrift Hunting Meme

It’s been awhile since I went thrifting. The summer heat here in Phnom Penh is really not that conducive to hopping around thrift stores specially since most of them aren’t air-conditioned. You know I wish there are more second hand online stores, where thrifting is as easy as a click here, add to shopping card and pay. Lol! For sure we’ll be seeing more online thrift shops like that in the future. For now I have to content myself on scouring Ebay for nice scores.

What’s for this week’s Share-a-Thrift-Hunt? Something I bought for the kiddo from our all time favorite Phnom Penh thrift store Japan Thrift Shop aka. Japan Recycle Shop or whatever its current name is. The top costs 1000 Riels {$0.25} and the cutie skirt costs 2000 Riels {$0.50}. I didn’t bother asking for a discount coz I think both is a very good buy already.

Please excuse the super creased top. Hihihi I was just too excited after I bought it and took a photo..

Chinks loves wearing this with her bell bottom pants. She looks all grown up and so girly. I really have to take a pic with her wearing this..

cutie skirt. love the fabric..

A lot of my kiddo’s skirts and pants are thrifted, coz kids do grow up fast and she just gets to use it a couple of times before she’s too big for it already. So for me, its really practical. And besides, the little girl is more of a fashionista than me. She likes mix and matching clothes and for some reason she likes the clothes I buy from thrift.
