Rambling On

Budget Slippers..

When I went home to the Philippines last May, I was in a rush. I left a lot of my ‘must-haves’ here in Phnom Penh.  I left a lot of my toiletries, I just brought 1 pair of pants and can you imagine me using that for a month? And not just that, I forgot to bring some comfy shoes and I was on wits end coz the denim flats I was wearing totally went bonkers on me. The problem though was that I didn’t have time to shop, nor did  I have the inclination to shop. But I didn’t have much choice.

So one weekend after I got there I went to a mall to buy some medicines for my dad and while I was waiting for the cashier I saw a store nearby with a signage ‘2 for P150’ sandals and flip flops. That was enough to pique my interest so I went over and ended up getting this two…

I wasn’t expecting it to be durable but it is! I’ve been using it for close to 5 weeks almost everyday and its still going strong. Lol! I know I assumed since its a cheapo then I was expecting it to say vavoosh after a few uses. I’m then putting some more sandals like these on my list the next time I go to the Philippines.
